March Daffodils Birth Month Flower Hand Embroidery Designs
/We are moving pretty quickly through 2025 and it is time for another birth month flower hand embroidery design! For March we have these pretty daffodils!
When we first moved in there were so many daffodils planted here! There was one patch full of them - I am talking hundreds and hundreds of bulbs! They bloomed shortly after we moved into the house and it was a lovely welcome.
I thought it would be appropriate to make some fillable fabric eggs with daffodil embroidery. They feature each of the large designs and turned out really cute!
Then, since I am getting a new niece this month, I decided to sew a new Miss Heron shirt for my baby sister with a little daffodil embroidered on the cuff. It’s for after she has the baby, of course, so I had a temporary model step in for these photos. Haha!
I hacked the pattern to add a split hem just for fun - love the way that turned out! - and added a label from Shine Bright Label co which is perfect for my sister! I used urban rib from Boho Fabrics in this gorgeous shade of blue and I really want to order more!
