Love Letters Embroidery Designs
/I have been keeping a secret!
(A good secret!)
For the past few months I have been working behind the scenes on a new embroidery line for Sofiona Designs! Today is the official launch of the new Love Letters Embroidery Collection!
I wanted to develop a retro alphabet design with floral accents. (Keeping it “on brand” the flowers are based on Canadian wildflowers.) And if you don’t want to monogram there is a floral cluster and a repeating border. I was also very intentional about creating useful designs that would pair well with their patterns. The letters fit very well on cup cozies from the Warm Winter Collection. I have used the border on my Poppy Apron and a Bonfire Hoodie. As another little bonus, I included a bookmark template and instructions so that you have a project ready to use included with the pattern!
There was a lot of extra work that went into this pattern, from illustrating stitch diagrams to creating instructional tutorial videos to writing detailed embroidery information. We wanted to make sure that this is a pattern that everyone would enjoy! I hope you LOVE it!
This has been a huge learning experience for me! There are so many technical details that go into this process and formatting was probably one of my most tediously difficult tasks. I really do appreciate all of the help and patience from Sherri and Trish throughout the process! The testers were also very helpful and I am so grateful for such a wonderful group of people! I really love all of you!
