June Decluttering Challenge ~ Garage/Outdoors
/I tackled my May Decluttering Challenge a little bit differently. You see, May is a pretty chaotic month here with the end-of-school-year activities. I really didn’t get anything done until the last week. By then, the kids were home and I decided to put them to work. In the summer, I like to give them each a list of chores (almost) every day. I just added a small task to help “deep clean” the bathroom and by the end of the week, it was finished! I took on the harder tasks and did the decluttering parts. I like this approach and hope that I can utilize it a bit more this summer.
June’s decluttering challenge is going to be dependent upon the weather. We have been getting a lot of rain again. It makes me sad.
My garage was spotless last year at this time. Unfortunately, we had to move a few things there when we demolished the sunroom, and there is some general clutter that I am blaming on my husband, mostly. In fact, between his farm stuff and construction stuff, there is a lot of mess outside. I absolutely hate it! I am hoping to work on some of HIS mess this month only because it bothers me so much. I just don’t know where to begin…
