AGF The Flower Fields Celestial Dress
/I got to sew with another line of Art Gallery Fabrics this month! They just released the lookbook for Maureen Cracknell’s The Flower Fields and it is packed full of colorful, summery inspiration.
Unfortunately that is just wishful thinking here! Pennsylvania in December to February is just so blah! It is brown and gray between the occasional coating of snow that just makes more mud. I can’t wait for, well… FLOWER FIELDS!
I sewed a Celestial Dress for my daughter with eyelet lace in the princess seams. I really love that detail! The bodice is shortened by 1” (kinda’ regret that tbh) and the sleeves were also lengthened a bit. It is just such a lovely, cottagecore style dress.
The fabric also has a lot of peach florals! That makes it another great contribution to the Project Run and Play Peach Fuzz Pantone Party! Just sew anything peach for kids to enter!
