Cream Cheese Marble Brownies
/I have mentioned before that I mostly use the recipe section on my blog like a personal recipe for the very best recipes that I make frequently. I have been holding out on this one for far too long! This is one of my best recipes and it is super easy! All you do is take a regular boxed brownie mix and add a cheesecake layer on top!
I have made them for a bachelorette party, picnics, family gatherings, and hungry college students. They never disappoint.
These are a little extra yellowish because I used fresh eggs from our Ameraucauna chickens- the yolks are a deep orange color.
Cream Cheese Marble Brownies
1 package boxed brownie mix, prepared as per the instructions on the box
8 oz package cream cheese, softened
1 egg
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or chunks
Pour the prepared brownie mix into a 9x13 greased baking dish. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, egg, sugar, and vanilla. Pour evenly over brownie mix. Use a butter knife to swirl the cream cheese layer into the brownie mix. Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over the brownie mix. Bake as per the directions on the brownie box.
Here is a little video tutorial to show you how I make them…
