July 4th Girls Outfit

A few times over the years I had recovered from Easter sewing by July and sewed matching patriotic dresses for my girls. The youngest one missed out on this experience, getting hand me downs from sisters who were too cool old to dress alike.

With the Project Run and Play Sewing Olympics event this month I decided that it was her turn. She has been bugging for a skort so I added the Elodie shorts to a shortened Becky Skirt. It worked really well! The top is a Sleep Tight Tee with slightly looser fit sleeves.

She also picked out some labels from Shine Bright Label Co. for this outfit and they really are a great touch!
