Canvas Factory Giveaway

***UPDATE*** Congratulations, Ronda! You are our winner!!!

I have some really exciting things to share with you today!!!!

First, you are about to see a rare thing on my blog- a picture including my son. It is a picture of a picture, actually. Just don’t tell him. He definitely doesn’t read my blog so he won’t know.

Second, I am hosting a GIVEAWAY!!! YAAAAY! I know the post title pretty much gave that away but it was worth some enthusiastic typing and exclamation points!

I was contacted by Canvas Factory and they offered to send me a canvas photo print in exchange for my honest review. They also offered to provide a code for a free 16”x20” canvas for one of my lucky blog readers! Sweet!!!

This is actually my first photo canvas and I am in love. I will definitely be getting more of these! I decided to use last year’s Christmas card picture. It was probably our best yet because the kids were very cooperative. I cried like a baby before we started because I realized that it might be the last Christmas card picture with all of the kids. They were a little scared of my mental stability at that point so I didn’t even have to do Photoshop head swapping this year!

It was really easy to upload my favorite picture and arrange it on the canvas. You can zoom in or out, tilt, and move it around until the part of the picture that you want on the front of the canvas is perfect. I tend to crop my pictures in random sizes so I wasn’t able to wrap it around the canvas. That is ok, because I really didn’t need the horses behind on the side of my canvas anyway. I chose to put a solid color on the sides. You can use a preselected color or sample a background color from the picture like I did. They have the option to mirror the image onto the sides, too. Next, they have the option to try different filters and effects, but I skipped that part.

After you have the canvas all set up you can look everything over to make sure it is perfect. I know this seems like a simple step, but it really impressed me because you can preview the image in full size! I can’t tell you how much I appreciate this feature because when I am enlarging a picture there might be something I didn’t notice until it was blown up to hang on my wall. I have issues.

It came really quickly and was packaged well. The quality is good and my picture looks really crisp and clear. Overall, I was super impressed with the entire process. For now I just sat it on our old TV stand and staged a photo, but I have big plans for a collage wall and this will be our focal point! (I just saw that they even have gallery wall options to make it easier! Love that!) You can check out their website HERE.

Ready for the giveaway? Great! I am keeping this super simple. Just leave a blog comment! Make sure that I have your e-mail address so that I can contact you if you win.
