Aspen and Tide Romper

I can’t say that I am a big romper fan. I am too old and practical. The idea of undressing to go to the bathroom is just too much hassle. I carried 6 babies. Ain’t nobody got time for that!

Still, my girls think rompers are the bomb! Well, that isn’t exactly what they say, but they love them. If rompers are coming back, can’t 80s/90s slang come back, too?

Sofiona Designs just released the new Aspen romper add-on that coordinates with the Tide and Dandelion patterns. I had been itching to make a Tide anyway, so I figured I could be a cool mom and sew a romper. I only made one so far, but as soon as I get some more double brushed poly (which is all my girls ever want to wear) I will be whipping up a few more.

The new Aspen romper add-on pattern for Sofiona Designs is so fun!

I love all of the details on the Tide pattern and it just fits together with the Aspen so well! This pattern is adorable on little girls, but also very flattering on older girls with the added darts to accommodate their figures. It also has pockets!!! I asked the girls if they wanted pockets and one of them said, “Is that even a question?!?”

Sofiona Tide top option for the new Aspen romper sewing pattern- love those details!
