Upcycled Sheet Dress Remake
/When I competed in Project Run and Play the third week’s challenge was “Boho” and I found it especially challenging because we were snowed in. I had to use what I had on hand so I got creative with some upcycling. One of the outfits was this drop waist maxi dress made from a flat sheet with handmade buttons.
Unfortunately, this dress didn’t get much wear so I decided to “upcycle an upcycle” for the Project Run and Play upcycling challenge this month! I shortened the bodice and moved the bottom tier up to the waist.
My youngest daughter is able to wear this dress and she was also included in the designs for that week so it is pretty cool so see it come full circle. I am a little extra sappy this week because the original wearer is graduating high school!
