I have been pestering Sofiona Designs for an apron pattern and it’s finally here!!! The Poppy apron is a unique, original design with so much careful attention to detail and practicality.

It has a very cute belt style and a towel loop at just the right spot. We worked with Raspberry Creek Fabrics for this project because they have new, custom printed waffle towels! You can upload your own designs or take advantage of the Designer Library. They also have a special collection preprinted towels each month. I got two towels from their January line and also used their stretch linen for my apron.

I chose the full apron with a halter strap and shortened it by 2” but I probably didn’t have to do that. The apron pattern also includes a pieced look, crossed straps, trim options, and a hidden pocket that is the perfect size for a cell phone.

I added some hand embroidery to the neckline of my apron. Consider this your “sneak peek!” ;)
