Men’s Dress Shirt to Girls’ Vintage Style Dress

Sparkly Womens Tank to Girls Dress Top

This dress was so simple to make, but my daughter loves it! The top is sparkly, the bottom is silky, it has a nice drape, and it is comfortable. The outside is made from a women’s sparkly tank and  the lining is made from a women’s T shirt. The top was constructed using the Uptown/Downtown Dress pattern. Farm Animals Quiet Book Page

On our little farm, spring means lots of new baby animals. I wanted to reflect that in the spring quiet book, too. I came up with this little sunset farm scene and tried out some different applique techniques. I hand embroidered the fence and some details, then sewed on the barn.
