Felt Taco Earbud Holder

We recently sent my brother a Mexican themed care package because he was hungry for Mexican food. Of course, as soon as we assembled a package he went all healthy on us and probably won’t eat any of it. Just so you know, it took 5 lbs of animal crackers to be able to make a small dish of chocolate-covered-burros! Anyway, at the last minute, I threw in something non-edible and just plain fun. it…

WIP Wednesday ~ Bring on Spring!

OK. I am slacking on the blog posts again. Yes, I have all of these awesome projects here and I am only giving little teasers about them. One of these days I will catch up enough to start blogging about them for real. From last week…~No, still no pics of those doll quilts. I am not sure if our wood glue is any good- it might have frozen- so the doll bunk beds still need…

Sneak Peek of Doll Dresses and Some Valentine Stuff

I have been doing a lot of craft projects for the kids/with the kids lately on these cold, snowy days. I made a few new things for their dolls a few weeks ago and ended up designing some new patterns. This one is a reversible doll dress. Fall Decorating with Kids- How it Backfired

The girls did a few fall crafts this year in a failed attempt to keep them busy and out of trouble. It was a nice thought. 😉 So, in an effort to keep it real around here, I thought we would do a little exhibit of “Craft & Consequence” Craft: First up, the girls made this lovely glittered fall leaf garland decorating their playhouse. All I did was hot glue the ribbons to the backs…

Girls Room Collage Wall ~ with Free Printables!

This summer, the girls and I did a lot of crafty projects. The biggest thing we did was a collage wall for a new bedroom. The walls are painted a light gray and the trim is a darker gray. That created a neutral backdrop and the girls each chose their favorite color for decorative accents- red and teal/aqua. I also threw in some pink and white. This is probably my favorite home decorating project ever!…
